Deforestation in tropical countries linked to European diets in new study
New research shows that European diets are linked to deforestation around the world. Scientists from Sweden's Chalmers University of Technology tracked carbon emissions that are produced from tropical deforestation and found that one-sixth of the harmful emissions are related to European diets.
