Leak shows Microsoft's very purple 'Fortnite' Xbox One S

Engadget

Microsoft's rumored Fortnite Xbox One appears to be real... and it wouldn't just be a basic software bundle. WinFuture claims to have obtained images and details of the system, and the Xbox One S variant would come in a very, very conspicuous "Gradi...

700 x 25 Clincher on a 13mm ID Rim?

Bike Forums

I am restoring an early 90s Serotta with Mavic wheels that measure 13mm ID inside the rim walls and 19mm OD. This used to have 23s. I have seen some charts that the max on a 13mm ID rim is a 25 size clincher. However, I have learned not to believe what I see on the internet (the sage folks on this...

Cannes 2019: All the winners and losers

Cnn.com

Bong Joon-ho of South Korea won the Palme d'Or, the Cannes Film Festival's top prize, on Saturday for his seventh feature film, "Parasite." It's the first time the director has won what is considered by many the highest honor in world cinema.

Defensive miscues trip the Sox to a dismal 8-1 loss

South Side Sox

Abreu hits home run No. 13; Twins hit home run No. 103

In what should have been a close game, the Chicago White Sox found a way to lose. Today it ended as an 8-1 trouncing by the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins challenged a leadoff hit-by-pitch to Leury García to start the game. One batter into the game, the Twins lost their only challenge, but it would not become a factor in a seven-run win.

In the same inning, Marwin Gonzalez robbed James McCann of a base hit that would have scored García. Читать дальше...

Talking Points from Stage 14: Carapaz Ascendant!

Podium Cafe

If I were to introduce someone to cycling by means of showing them a Grand Tour I would be loath to show them the first fortnight of this one. Flat stage after flat stage with tension, rather than real drama, in evidence. Not helpful in my efforts to show off the sport would be the UAE-Emirates caretaker leaders who, despite their large advantages in terms of time, are instantly dismissed from consideration as potential winners despite leading the race by five minutes with almost two-thirds of it elapsed. Korean Director Wins Cannes' Top Prize

Voice of America

South Korean director Bong Joon-ho's social satire Parasite, about a poor family of hustlers who find jobs with a wealthy family, won the Cannes Film Festival's top award, the Palme d'Or, on Saturday.      Parasite was the first Korean film to win the Palme. In the festival's closing ceremony, jury president Alejandro Inarritu said the choice was ``unanimous'' for the nine-person jury.      The genre-mixing film had arguably been celebrated more than others at Cannes this year, hailed by critics... Leeds Rhinos - southstander.com • 2019 l Academy U19s

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Have to say, watching the highlights that Jack Welsby looked great again.

I’m guessing we’ll see Levi Edwards in the U18s next year - he could be one of those rare ones that makes first grade at 16/17 if he continues to develop.

If we do stay up this year it’s going to be a fascinating closed season - not only with new signings and departures, but because there are 6 or 7 of this Academy side who’ll be busting a gut to claim a first grade spot for 2020. We still might not be winning... Читать дальше...

Leigh Centurions • Re: Stop signing Bad Apples

Mr Frisk, if you are referring to Gaz Hock as a bad apple, well you are wrong. In the time Gaz has played for Leigh he has been a model pro. Welcome back Gaz. If we can get him fit then he is a massive asset to the team.

Seem to recall him huffing, puffing and struggling to retreat on many an occasion in second halves. However, JD seems to have the knack of getting part-timers fit (or inspiring the trainers & the players to "make it so"). Читать дальше...
