More than 600 encroachments have been removed from the catchment area of the Ramgarh Dam near the city, Rajasthan Water Resources Minister B D Kalla said on Thursday. A man was killed in a house collapse as four tremors shook parts of Palghar district in Maharashtra in the early hours of Thursday, officials said. The government's decision to give relief from IGST on re-import of goods after exhibition would help in promoting shipments of gems and jewellery, an industry body said on Thursday.
