A creative woman planted vegetables in the gaps between the bricks in her yard in northern China. The video, filmed in Harbin city in Heilongjiang province on June 11, shows the woman named Ling Er filling the mud into the brick gaps then planting and watering the vegetable seeds. In another video, aubergines and corns can be seen growing out. She came up with the idea accidentally and has been planting vegetables in brick gaps for several years.

A massive group of tiles slid off the roof of a six-storey residential building in northern China's Dalian city on August 1. The video shows a large block of tiles suddenly falling from the top floor of a residential building. Fortunately, no one was injured. The property management has cleaned the rest tiles on the roof and will start to check all the buildings in the residential community.
