Wakefield Trinity • Re: Miller
With all due respect to the likes of Miller and others in SL they are average and would have no chance on playing first grade NRL
Something in British RL is very wrong and the blame for a lack of quality home grown halfbacks etc is with all SL clubs and the coaching throughout the whole game.
For me the way forward is the old style Colts, Reserve setup
How can players like Miller be expected to return to first team rugby after a long layoff without first easing their way back to full match fitness in the reserves.
Clubs will say it’s unaffordable yet they continue to sign average overseas players.
It was so refreshing to see Trinity giving Kershaw game time this year. Plus the continuing progress Crowther Batchelor Jowitt Johnstone when fit continue to make.
