New Delhi [India], April 11 (ANI): As scores of daily wage workers have moved back to their hometowns due to the spread of coronavirus, the impact of migration can be seen affecting the medicine distribution chain in the capital.Ashish Grover, General Secretary of Drug Dealer Association from Bhagirath Palace market told ANI that the supply chain of medicines has got disturbed as there is a dearth of labourers."We have the medicines, masks, gloves, but we do not have workers to pack the consignment and deliver it to the retailers. COVID-19: Prohibit use, spitting of smokeless tobacco in public places, health ministry tells states

The Union Health Ministry has asked all states to prohibit the use and spitting of smokeless tobacco in public places to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. "Chewing smokeless tobacco products, paan masala and areca nut (supari) increases the production of saliva followed by a very strong urge to spit. Spitting in public places could enhance the spread of the COVID-19 virus," the ministry said in a letter to chief secretaries of all states and union territories.
