Eurozone investors grew gloomier in September as a gauge of investor confidence worsened to the lowest level since May 2020, signalling that recession fears are increasing, survey data from the behavioural research institute Sentix showed on Monday. The eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence index came in at -31.8, down from -25.2 in August compared with expectations of -27.5. The index broke its recovery streak amid mounting recession fears.
