Den Bosch defeated Club de Campo de Madrid PIC: EHL/Worldsportpics

Frédérique Matla once again proved the hero as Den Bosch defeated Club de Campo de Madrid for the second time in three editions of the EHL Women’s Grand Final, making it 18 top tier European club titles since 2000 and a third Dutch club win in a row since the women’s inception.

Bloemendaal became the first ever Euro Hockey League Men’s club to win the title for three times in succession as they got the better of Rot-Weiss Köln for a second successive season in Monday’s final. It was the fourth time in the last five editions that the Dutch powerhouse had won the clubs’ showpiece.

Another Kookaburra will make his debut, while two experienced campaigners return after the announcement of the Kookaburras team for the FIH Pro League series against New Zealand and Great Britain in Christchurch from 22-30 April 2023.
