The Allahabad High Court on Friday ordered authorities to determine the age of the shivling-like structure inside the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi using modern technology. It set aside an October 14 order of the Varanasi District Court that rejected a plea for scientific investigation, including carbon dating, of the structure. Charles Schwab Corp. SCHW said Friday its total client assets for April rose 1% over the previous month to $7.63 trillion, and were up 5% from April 2022. Active brokerage accounts in April rose 1% from the previous month to 34.2 million, but remained about flat from the year-ago period.
