A newly born baby girl has been found dead at Nkrankwanta district hospital in Dormaa West in the Bono Region. The baby was found dead on August 20 wrapped in a black polythene bag dumped at an uncompleted building which is the new children rsquo;s ward at the hospital.

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck deep underground in northern Argentina. There have been no immediate reports of damages. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake occurred at a depth of 568 kilometers (353 miles).
