Indian intelligence sources have revealed that pro-Khalistan elements in Canada are recruiting and radicalizing Punjabi youths through a network that sponsors visas for medium-skilled jobs, including religious duties in gurdwaras they control. These youths are brought in under false pretenses and end up involved in the separatist movement, organizing anti-India protests and radical-religious congregations.

Students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, have been urged to suspend payment of tuition fees, following the slash in fee hike by the management of the institution.
