Vaccine shortage hinders mpox inoculation in Africa
Nairobi, Kenya — The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the continent needs 10 million doses of mpox vaccines to stop the spread of the disease, which it recently declared a public health emergency. However, experts say the global shortage of mpox vaccines will affect any inoculation drives in Africa.
