Arms in the air all the time;
There are times when half a dozen players are shouting “heeeyyyy” at the ref;
Some players don’t like being tackled and waste a second when playing the ball having a moan about some insignificant infringement they think has gone on in the tackle or when they’re getting up (just play the loving ball!);
Clearly doing something wrong and giving a penalty away and then moaning about it even though they’re bang to rights...
It can’t be doing us any favours. The officials must hate some of our players.
Some of them seem obsessed with the officials. This isn’t just a Wire problem, admittedly. Some players in SL must go to the ref’s changing room before games with an apple then run around holding his hand during the game - but we do have our fair share of mardarses.
This won’t be coming from Price neither because he doesn’t come across as someone who says to the lads “get in the refs ear from the off”. He seems a lot fairer and calmer than resorting to that.
