Comtech: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) _ Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (CMTL) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $7.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Melville, New York-based company said it had net income of 31 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 42 cents per share.

The communications company posted revenue of $170.4 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $163.2 million.

Comtech shares have fallen almost 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $22.73, a decrease of 31% in the last 12 months.
