Shopportunist: Enjoy these free summer movies
If you need a bit more help fleshing out a summer of frugal family fun, how about a few hours with singing swine, snarky superheroes or a video game bad guy who ventures into the wild World Wide Web to save a friend?
Once again, national movie theater chains, municipalities and local arts venues are hosting free (or super-cheap) movie series over the coming weeks. So clip and keep this list and carve out a summer of cinema fun.
Regal Cinemas
The mega-chain's Summer Movie Express family movie series kicks off at Regal Crossgates Stadium 18 & IMAX and Regal Clifton Park Stadium.
Admission is only $1. Tickets are available for purchase at the box office and all movies start at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Each week both movies play on both days. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute.
June 25-26: "Teen Titans Go! To the Movies" and "Paddington 2"
