SF Pride Parade 2019: The most colorful costumes and creative signs

"Yas queens, go!" a rainbow-clad bystander chanted. Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" was already blasting from multiple speakers, and the 49th Annual Pride Celebration was about to begin. "Leather daddies, go!"

The Dykes on Bikes whizzed by, waving to cheering spectators on Market Street. What followed was a flurry of colorful tutus, capes, tube socks and glitter worn by the thousands of participants in this year's parade. Longtime activists held up banners honoring the 50 year anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Tourists gawked at naked men. Condoms were passed around. And parents, clutching signs that read "Free Mom Hugs," stood by as individuals approached them for an embrace.
