Whitehaven had a plan today and stuck to it. Finishing top is now virtually out of reach as Whitehaven are seven points ahead with five games to play. Whitehaven only need two more wins to guarantee finishing ahead of us. They've got games against Coventry and W Wales still to come.

The big Whitehaven forwards wore us down. We couldn't cope with their 'beef' upfront.
