You can’t sack a coach who has won you a trophy, it would be completely ridiculous regardless of whether you make the top 5 or not. That said, there would have to be questions asked of Steve Price if you did drop out, as the Grand Final is the one you want, but I think it’s highly unlikely you will. Next year is the year Price needs to deliver the Grand Final, with Widdop joining.
