NATIONAL SUMMARY
Sunshine, low humidity and dry weather is forecast to
continue across the East tomorrow. Any patchy morning fog in
the Northeast will lift by the midday hours. Surf will
remain dangerous along the southern Atlantic Seaboard, and a
few showers may dampen Florida's east coast. Meanwhile,
Imelda will continue to wring out flooding rainfall over
eastern Texas. Very warm and humid air will stretch across
the nation's midsection, with portions of the Midwest and
southern Plains likely to be dampened by showers and
thunderstorms. Gusty winds are forecast to whip across the
Four Corners states with just a few thunderstorms expected
to erupt. Pockets of rain and high-elevation snow will keep
the Northwest to the Great Basin unseasonably cool.
