Knowlton's horse taking the next step

There is some excitement for those in the group who are invested in a good looking 2-year-old New York-bred colt named Tiz the Law.

The group is a familiar one to those who follow horse racing around here although it hasn't been on a big stage in a long time.

That changes Saturday when Tiz the Law runs in the Grade I, $500,000 Champagne Stakes at Belmont Park. It's the premier race for young colts on the Belmont fall schedule.
