You do realise that it was a 9's competition which is neither Hall's or Jermaine McGillvary's ideal game due to their lack of out and out pace?
And that they were simply getting some much needed game time as they haven't played for a while in order to get them ready for the test matches?
If Manfredi had been fit then IMO he is the only winger in our comp that could have made the starting 13 before either of the 2 mentioned players...IMO of course
Scrutinse the past all you want. It doesn't make any difference when the players in question are now too heavy and too slow. They were embarrassingly poor. While George Williams used the tournament to give Canberra a worrying hint of what they've paid all that money for (and I add that bit just to show that I'm not Wigan party politicking).
