It was there all night, right jab and then left body, right body for Ortiz. He was fainting, getting in out brilliantly and really frustrating Wilder I thought. That was until Wilder managed to catch him, before that moment the fight was a ridiculously one sided fight. I've lost count the amount of times I've watched Wilder and said it's a good job he's got that power because his boxing skills are average at best & even with his padded record, in so many he gets out boxed by anyone with a decent skill set.
Wilder tried to play it down after the fight, talking about him finding his range and throwing stuff out to get a feel of Ortiz but you could see when Ortiz caught him he'd throw the big ugly overhand shots that were miles away. Tbh just before he caught Ortiz I thought Wilder got hurt, his legs seemed to go after a left rattled him but for some reason Ortiz didn't keep the pressure on and 20 secs later the fight was over.
