LEVERPOINT MANAGEMENT

Vasilios Pilarinos joined LeverPoint as a Staff Accountant II on its Tax Team. He holds a master of science in accountancy from SUNY Polytechnic and a bachelor of science in accounting from Siena College. He previously worked as a senior tax analyst for The Ayco Company, L.P., a Goldman Sachs Company in Latham.

Connor Galvin joined LeverPoint as a Staff Accountant II on its Tax Team. He holds a bachelor of arts in mathematics and a bachelor of science in accounting from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Previously, he was employed at Bonadio & Co. LLP in Albany.

Karen Toivonen joined LeverPoint as an intern on the Business Development team. She is expected to graduate in December 2020 with a business administration degree.

PIONEER BANK

Pioneer Bank said Heidi Knoblauch has been appointed as the bank's new venture and growth banking relationship manager.

Knoblauch, owner of both Plumb Oyster Bar in Troy and Receipt HQ, will work with startup companies, organizations and individuals that support the startup industry, high growth companies, and the servicing of commercial clients.

Knoblauch most recently served as chairperson of both the City of Troy's Industrial Development Authority and its Local Development Corporation.

Previously, Knoblauch served as digital projects coordinator for both the Historical Studies and Experimental Humanities programs at Bard College, as well as a program coordinator for JustPublics@365 for the Ford Foundation Project at the Graduate Center at the City University of New York.

She earned a doctorate in history and master's degrees in both history of science and medicine, and American studies from Yale University. She also has a bachelor's degree in history and public health from the...
