Food writer calls burger at rustic lodge near Yosemite 'the perfect hamburger'

The lodge is situated on Bass Lake, just south of Yosemite National Park. The food is nothing fancy; in addition to burgers, the restaurant serves chicken fried steak, salads and breakfast scrambles. A burger costs $5.50 and a cheeseburger is $6.25.
