New Hampshire accepting teacher of the year nominations

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The state Department of Education is accepting nominations for the 2021 New Hampshire Teacher of the Year.

The deadline is Feb. 14.

Education officials say a candidate should be an exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled classroom teacher from any state-approved or accredited school, pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. The teacher would be certified in New Hampshire, demonstrate leadership and intend to continue in the teaching profession.
