Union hockey rallies for tie with Princeton
Union scored two goals late in the third period and then settled for a 2-2 tie with Princeton in an ECAC college hockey game at Messa Rink on Friday night
The Dutchmen are now 5-12-2 in the league and 7-20-4 overall. Princeton is 2-13-4 in the league and 4-17-5 overall.
Trailing 2-0, Union scored twice in the final 4:25 of the third period to force the five-minute overtime. Senior Anthony Rinaldi scored first, at 15:25 of the third and then freshman Gabriel Seger, who assisted on Rinaldi's goal, beat Princeton goalie Jeremie Forget at 16:24.
