George Kittle’s physical style has contributed to his extensive medical file, and it’s also the reason he’s expected to sign a contract extension this offseason that will make him the NFL’s highest-paid tight end. Given his upcoming payday, head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked about Kittle possibly being “smarter” when he had the ball and avoiding contact when possible.
