Singles-crazed Giants win again, but lose catcher Susac

In Saturday night’s 8-4 victory against the Diamondbacks, the Giants’ fifth in a row, Jake Peavy forced Bochy to break his code of solemnity when he singled for his first hit in two years.

Peavy led off the third inning with a liner just inside the right-field line.
