Duke police search for suspects in robbery near campus
DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Duke University police are distributing sketches of two men they're seeking in connection with a robbery near the campus and who have been linked to two similar incidents in Chapel Hill and on the UNC campus.
Local media outlets report the drawings are based on the descriptions provided by a man who was robbed outside a university-owned apartment building last Friday.
Late last Wednesday, UNC police said a man and a woman were robbed on the University of North Carolina campus near Raleigh and Country Club roads. According to Chapel Hill police, two men were robbed in the area of East Franklin Street and North Estes Drive.
Police say the descriptions were similar in each case.
