Giants acquire young outfielder from White Sox, place new pitcher on restricted list

The San Francisco Giants added a toolsy outfielder with a good eye at the plate Sunday, acquiring switch-hitter Luis Alexander Basabe from the White Sox for cash. They also placed just-acquired pitcher Jordan Humphreys on the restricted list.
