Ian Anderson makes major league debut against Yankees
A 95 mph fastball, called strike one, against New York Yankees batter Mike Tauchman got it started for Ian Anderson at 4:11 p.m. Thursday.
Anderson, the Shenendehowa graduate, made his Major League Baseball debut for the Atlanta Braves in the first game of a doubleheader against the Yankees. The baseball he threw for the first pitch immediately was tossed into the Braves dugout for a keepsake.
