Ian Anderson dominant in major league debut for Braves against Yankees
Even giving up a home run couldn't diminish the sparkling Major League Baseball debut of Ian Anderson.
A Shenendehowa graduate and highly touted pitching prospect for the Atlanta Braves, Anderson no-hit the New York Yankees for 5 1/3 innings Wednesday afternoon before Luke Voit's opposite-field home run with one out in the sixth inning. Anderson struck out six in six innings.
