Coronavirus nearly took A’s coach’s life, but it couldn’t stop the wedding

Oakland A’s minor-league coach Webster Garrison spent two months on a ventilator in a New Orleans hospital after contracting COVID-19 and he also had two strokes while in the ICU. He got married to his longtime partner, Nikki Trudeaux, while in the hospital and the couple is now preparing for a new life together as they try to get him home to rehab.
