UAlbany basketball finally begins, but with a last-second loss

The University at Albany and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County tipped off at 4:17 p.m. in front of no fans on the Danes' home court because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Only school officials and limited media, perhaps two dozen in total, were on hand to watch the America East Conference opener for both schools.
