U.S. Women's National Team soccer star Megan Rapinoe asks that question in her memoir “One Life,” a holiday gift I bought for myself.

I read it this week while absorbing almost every minute of the inauguration ceremony and celebrating the history-making first days of Kamala Harris as the first woman vice president of the United States.

Rapinoe herself has been the center of many historic moments, all by taking risks and being passionate in her life and causes. Her honesty in “One Life”  shines from the very first page.
