Bike Night at Carter Barron
WABA is partnering with Rock Creek Park and Rock Creek Conservancy for Bike Night! This event is part of the Summer in the Park series, every Thursday evening in June at Carter Barron.
WABA Kids Bike Rodeo
An exciting experience that teaches helpful riding skills and safety to youth on bikes. Participants will learn how to navigate traffic lights and stops, crosswalks, intersections, and more. This is a closed course with no cars, providing youth a safe space to practice, learn, and have fun.
Bring your own bike and helmet, or borrow one from WABA. All participants will be required to wear a mask and helmet while at the rodeo.
Food and Entertainment
Food trucks, music from DJ Lance Reynolds, and themed activities for each night will bring the Rock Creek community together to celebrate our urban oasis and #RecreateResponsibly in our parks.
