“It’s all a game” – Some fans Spurs react to potential double appointment
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have this afternoon been taking to Twitter to share their reaction to the latest twist in the managerial search.
The Athletic have claimed that Spurs are in talks with Antonio Conte, who is now the front runner for the head coach position.
Conte left Inter Milan last month just a matter of weeks after guiding the San Siro outfit to their first Serie A title in eleven years.
The report also suggests that the North Londoners also want to bring in former Juventus Chief Football Officer, Fabio Paratici as the new sporting director.
Paratici spent 11 years in the job where he also worked alongside Conte during his spell as Juventus boss between 2011 and 2014.
Mauricio Pochettino had been heavily linked with a return to the club, however, PSG are said to be unwilling to allow him to leave (Telegraph).
Here is what some of the North London faithful have had to say about this afternoon’s breaking news.
Only way that happens is with a war chest. Would much prefer Poch.

Have we been taken over or has someone got a gun to Levy’s head???

Is Conte enough to convince Kane to stay? Or has the Kane money enticed Conte? Getting to spend it on getting the squad he wants together?

It’s all a game, spurs playing a blinder here.

There's nothing I wanted more than Poch back at Spurs.
But I did say two days ago that Conte AND Paratici could be better.

Also don’t be surprised if the release of this information to approach Conte is just a ploy for Poch to go public to leave PSG…

I dont get it. Conte enjoys success with signing players for the now and wants immediate results and that isnt what Levy will be able to provide. He is a very very good manager but im just not sure if he's best suited to the project our club is going to be for the next few years

Genuinely wondering but is he any good? Juve's squad is massively over spent and in a poor spot overall right
