[Women's Basketball] Kowalska Selected as Life Women's Basketball Head Coach

MARIETTA, Ga. --- Life University Director of Athletics Jayme Pendergast announced Wednesday morning the hiring of Anna Kowalska as the new women's basketball head coach.
 
Kowalska brings a wealth of experience at the NAIA level where she has been involved with the program at West Virginia Tech since 2013. In her time with the program, she has not only developed the team on the court, but also in the classroom. She led 26 NAIA All-Conference Scholar Athletes to two regular season conference championships as well as two conference tournament championships. Kowalska tallied three NAIA National tournament appearances with four NAIA All-Americans and an overall record of 61-26 at the helm of the program. Prior to her coaching days, she played NCAA Division I basketball at Kent State University where she stayed on as a graduate assistant coach to receive her Masters of Art degree in Sports Administration.
