Vladimir Putin faces his first diplomatic test with U.S. President Joe Biden looking to establish a tougher line when it comes to Russia. After sending troops to the Ukranian border and the hijacking of a plane by Belarus, NATO allies will seek a strong commitment from the U.S. and its European partners to counter Russia’s moves on Eastern Europe.
