UK weather LIVE – Scorching 28C heatwave will dramatically end this week with plunging temperatures and thunderstorms
THE MERCURY is set to climb even higher today, with highs of 29C predicted, according to the Met Office.
However, thunderstorms are likely across parts of south-west England and southwest Wales, leading the Met Office to issue a yellow weather warning for these areas.
We’ll all be basking in a mini-heatwave over the next fortnight, with thousands heading to beaches and parks to make the most of the sunshine.
Coral now makes this month just 6-4 to become the hottest June since records began.
