Anti-corruption sleuths nabbed three employees of the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) on Wednesday while they were accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a woman sanitation worker. The woman was asked to pay the amount to enable her get a transfer to an area of her choice.
