Video: Troy Parrott scores first senior international goals after netting brace against Andorra
Troy Parrott has this evening scored his first senior international goals for the Republic of Ireland after netting a brace.
The 19-year-old was named in Stephen Kenny’s starting eleven for the friendly match against Andorra and they were taken by surprise when the minnows took the lead after 52 minutes.
Parrott levelled the score seven minutes later when he picked up the ball on the left side of the pitch before cutting inside and beat a number of defenders to find the bottom corner of the net.
The Spurs forward added a second just three minutes later to give his side the lead when he headed home from a Conor Hourihane cross.
