Omega 14 Rig Tuning

I recently purchased an omega 14. I set it up in my driveway to go over the rigging to check if there was anything that needed repair or replacement. When I got the mast up I noticed that the shrouds are not completely taut and there is a bit of wiggle to the mast from side to side. They are in the location that the previous owner had left them. Is this normal?
