Andy Cohen’s childhood friend Andy Neiman ‘found dead’ in Hudson River after TV star shared his missing person flyer
ANDY Cohen’s childhood friend Andy Neiman was reportedly found dead in the Hudson River.
Last month, the Bravo Boss shared the late actor and playwright’s missing person flyer.
Neiman’s friend Stephanie Saur posted his GoFundMe: “We are utterly heartbroken to share that Andy’s body has been found in Poughkeepsie. THANK YOU to all who have given so much to help with the search.
“We’re increasing our goal to raise additional funds to support Andy’s 8-year-old daughter and to cover funeral costs.
“Thanks to all who have contributed to this effort. With love and gratitude, Andy’s Family and Friends.
“The funds previously donated will cover funeral costs and we’re increasing our goal to raise additional funds to support Andy’s 8-year-old daughter.”
She added: “Thanks to all who have contributed to this effort.”
In the weeks after Neiman’s disappearance, Andy shared his missing person’s flyer on Facebook.
The post noted Neiman was a “missing vulnerable adult with schizophrenia,” and he was thought to be last seen wearing green scrubs.
Andy told Page Six: “Andy is younger than me, but we went to the same camp – Nebagamon in Wisconsin – and the same high school…
“I’m praying for his safe return, along with a lot of folks in St. Louis.”
According to a report, he had recently recently “suffered a psychotic break.”
Andy went missing from Poughkeepsie’s MidHudson Regional Hospital on May 21.
His sister Emily Asher Abramson also shared the news of her brother’s death on a public Facebook group created after his disappearance.
