The second edition of the complete lockdown over the weekend came into force from 5pm on Saturday with full administrative preparedness in the capital and elsewhere in the state and will be in place till 6am on Monday. Unlike the first edition last week, milk parlours in addition to the medical services will function during this period while the rest are brought under complete shutdown, as a part of the state government’s move to curb the chain of Covid-19 transmission, cases of which are gradually on a downward trend in Jharkhand.
