Commission meeting on Iran nuclear deal to resume in Vienna on 20 June
A joint commission of Iran and the international P5 to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program will meet in Vienna on June 20. The European Union’s foreign policy service said in a statement issued on Saturday
“The Joint Commission on the JCPOA will resume its work on Sunday, June 20, in Vienna”, – the statement said.
Face-to-face talks between Iran and the international P5 have been underway in Vienna since April to restore the Iran nuclear agreement to its original form: lifting US sanctions on Iran, meeting Iran’s nuclear obligations, and returning the US to the deal. Representatives of the JCPOA member states are also holding separate consultations with the US delegation without Iran’s participation.
