JD Mundy went 3 for 5 with a double, 2 homeruns, 4 runs scored, 6 RBI and walked twice in Aberdeen’s win in Asheville.  He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day. 

NORFOLK TIDES (15-23) LOST 9-0 TO DURHAM – AAA 

• Ryan McKenna went 1 for 4 with a double. 
• Nick Ciuffo went 1 for 3 with a walk. 
• SP: Kyle Bradish allowed 5 runs, 3 earned, on 6 hits while walking 2 and striking out 1 over 1.2 innings.  He was tagged with the loss.

BOWIE BAYSOX (27-12) LOST 17-9 TO AKRON – AA 

• Yusniel Diaz went 2 for 5 with a homerun, 2 runs scored, 3 RBI and a walk. 

• Willy Yahn went 3 for 6 with 2 doubles, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  He also pitched one-third of an inning and allowed 3 runs on 3 hits (1 homerun). 
• SP: Michael Baumann allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, on 3 hits while walking 4 and striking out 1 over 4.0 innings.

• Jordan Westburg went 3 for 6 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored, 4 RBI and a stolen base. 
• Toby Welk went 3 for 6 with 2 homeruns, 2 runs scored and 4 RBI.   
• SP: Drew Rom allowed 3 runs, 1 earned on 4 hits (1 homerun) while walking 3 and striking out 3 in 5.0 innings pitched to earn the win.  He is now 4-0 on the season.
