Jharkhand has received 76% excess rains so far for the month of June this year, the Ranchi office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said. Between June 1 and June 24, Jharkhand has received a cumulative rainfall of 243.9 mm, which is 76% more than the state’s normal rainfall average of 138.3 mm for June.
