25 June 2021 @ 1:00 pm – Sailing School
Please be advised that Sailing School activities for the week Monday 28 June to Sunday 4 July are currently going ahead as scheduled.
We will be seeking further advise from the NSW Department of Health and the Office of Sport. So, the situation may change.
We are treating the Sailing School activities as exercise.
We consider the school holiday camps to be an import community service and we will run these camps if possible.
We will be keeping participants in groups of 10 or less, conducting the activities outside (as much as possible), encouraging the use of hand sanitiser and face masks, and will be conducting temperature tests on entry.
If you have any questions, please email: sailing.school@woollahrasailingclub.org.au
25 June 2021 @ 1:00 pm – Traffic delays
The COVID testing facility, adjacent to the Club, is in full swing. As a result delays of up to 90 minutes are being experienced. We advise parking near the ferry wharf or other location and walking to the Club if possible. As a result of lobbying by the Club, the traffic arrangements on Vickery avenue were changed on Wednesday 23 June 2021. This has reduced the impact of the testing facility on the Club. Further negotiation with local council is continuing.
