UFC Fight Night 190 predictions: Do we like Ciryl Gane or Alexander Volkov in a heavyweight clash?

The UFC is back this week with heavyweights atop the lineup ahead of a one-week holiday break.

UFC Fight Night 190 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+.

In the main event, Ciryl Gane (8-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) takes on former Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov (33-8 MMA, 7-2 UFC). Gane is a mild -150 betting favorite at BetMGM, and he’s got the lead in the picks from our 13 editors, writers, radio hosts and videographers at 8-5.

In the co-feature, Tanner Boser (19-8-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) meets Ovince Saint Preux (25-15 MMA, 13-10 UFC) in another heavyweight bout. Boser is a -185 favorite and has an 8-5 lead in the picks from our staff members.

Also on the main card, Raoni Barcelos (16-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) is a sizable -225 favorite in his bantamweight bout against Timur Valiev (17-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC). He’s also one of two unanimous picks on the main card.

Andre Fili (21-8 MMA, 9-7 UFC) takes on Daniel Pineda (27-14 MMA, 4-5 UFC) in a featherweight bout. Fili is a -225 favorite at the betting window and a near-unanimous pick at 12-1.

Tim Means (31-12-1 MMA, 13-9 UFC) is just a -140 favorite in his welterweight bout against Nicolas Dalby (19-3-1 MMA, 3-2-1 UFC), but he’s got a fairly big 9-4 edge in the picks.

Renato Moicano (14-4-1 MMA, 6-4 UFC) is the main card’s biggest betting favorite at -250. He’s also our second unanimous pick in his lightweight bout against Jai Herbert (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC).

In the MMA Junkie reader consensus picks, Volkov (51 percent), Boser (53 percent), Barcelos (70 percent), Fili (74 percent), Means (62 percent) and Moicano (79 percent) are the choices.
